Great Aycliffe Town Council endeavour to keep the costs affordable to all parents and carers.
Tots in the Park
(Two-three years)
If your child is not eligible for funding, our fees are
- £5.25 per hour
For example a 3 hour session would be £15.75/ full day = £33.70
Your child may be eligible for 15 hours of free funding, the term after their second birthday.
Additional hours booked but not attended are charged at 50%.
Pre-School Fees
(Three to four years)
If your child is not eligible for educational funding, our fees are:-
- £5.25 per hour
For example a 3 hour session would be £15.75
Additional hours booked but not attended are charged at 50%.
If your child is eligible for educational funding, our fees are:-
- First 15 hours free (you maybe eligible for an additional 15 hours. Government website for further information.
- £5.25 per hour in excess of the first 15 hours
Please note that if you book extra hours for your child and they do not attend then a 50% charge will apply.
Please ensure you collect your child on time, as you will be charged a late collection fee of £10

Tax Credits
You may be able to claim help towards childcare fees, the following schemes may apply to you, depending on your circumstances.

Childcare Vouchers
We also take payment with Childcare vouchers which may be provided by your employer.
Educational Funding
Children may qualify for funding from when they turn two if parents are in receipt of a working families code. Children may also access funded hours the term after their second birthday should parents be in receipt of a disadvantaged families code. All three and four year olds are entitled to education funding the term after their third birthday. Places will only be offered and confirmed once a code has been received and given to the nursery to confirm funding.
All children are eligible to receive nursery education funding the term after their 3rd birthday; the 15 hours can be taken flexibly over a minimum of 3 days.
