Northbound

• From the A1(M) take the A689 towards Bishop Auckland. Turn immediately left on the first roundabout onto the A167
• Turn right at the traffic lights after the Gretna Green Public House/Premier Inn
• Follow the road round the right-hand curve, pass the petrol station and turn left onto Horndale Avenue
• At the mini roundabout take the first exit, onto School Aycliffe Lane
• The entrance road for the Golf Complex is 300M on the right
• Follow the road along to the Golf Complex

Southbound

• From the A1(M) take the A167 to Newton Aycliffe
• At the second set of traffic lights, take the left lane leaving the A167 for St Cuthbert’s Way
• Follow the road pass the petrol station and then turn left onto Horndale Avenue
• At the mini roundabout take the first exit, onto School Aycliffe Lane
• The entrance to the Golf Complex is 300M on the right
• Follow the road along to the Golf Complex

Railway

Newton Aycliffe Train Station is a short walk from the centre, cross the Gantry bridge and walk up the hill. Services are provided by www.northernrail.org

Please note access to the Golf Complex is via a pedestrian bridge across the railway line.

Bus

Arriva provide services within the district. If you are not sure which company runs a service between your journey start and end points, you can visit their website www.arrivabus.co.uk or phone them on 087 1200 2233.

Beware, some satellite navigation systems will guide you to he Railway Station in Greenfield Way. The only access to the Golf Complex from the Railway Halt is via a pedestrian walkway over the railway line.
