Letters to Santa

Each year Santa’s Elves put special post boxes around Newton Aycliffe so that all the boys and girls from Newton Aycliffe can post their letters to Santa.

When everything is quiet, and nobody is looking, the Elves empty the boxes and take the letters to Santa at the North Pole. Santa will send a reply to your letter, enclosed will be a certificate and small gift. Please remember to put your full name and address on your letter.

We have been told that the post boxes will appear on Friday 22nd November 2024 at the following locations:

  • Post Office/Youngs Newsagents Beveridge Way
  • John’s Your Very Own Mini Market at Neville Parade
  • Horndale Post Office, Silverdale Place
  • Sainsbury’s Cobbler’s Hall
  • The Sun Inn at Simpasture
  • Premier Express, St Elizabeth Close
  • Aycliffe Village Hall, North Terrace

The boxes will disappear on Thursday 12th December 2024.

  • If you let us know your e-mail address your reply will be sent by e-mail. If you prefer to receive it by post (only available until 15th December), complete the address section below.
  • Postal replies are only available until noon on 13th December. E-mail replies can be sent to you right up to noon on 18th December.
  • Please write what you would like Santa to bring you. Remember, Santa has lots of boys and girls to deliver to so he might not be able to bring everything you ask for.
