St Oswalds Allotment site is the largest of the five sites operated by the Council.
There are 116 plots in a range of sizes, to be used for the cultivation of vegetables and flowers.
The allotment was extended in the autumn of 2011 to meet the demand for allotment plots. The extension provided an additional 41 plots.
The Site is protected by security fencing and water is provided at various points around the Site.
In addition to the plots for produce, there are also 9 pigeon lofts and 5 bee keeping plots.
